NO FIGHT NO GLORY - THE "IDU NA VI" MMA TOURNAMENT WAS HELD IN KYIV
Another wonderful event took was held in Kyiv recently. Las sunday, on October 16, young Ukrainian athletes-nationalists had brought together at the IDU NA VI MMA tournament in order to test themselves at the ring. The tournament was arranged by the Right Sector and Azov movement at the initiative of Arseny Bilodub, a veteran of the Ukrainian nationalist movement, a front-man of the legendary Sokira Peruna band.
This kind of events are nothing else than a reflection of what is in every man's blood; a reflection of what we have been doing for ages.
We have been fighting for thousands years. Whether it is a fight against a wild predator for own survival, a noble duel, or a street fight when it's time to pay for words.
Duels have sunk into oblivion. Times when we had been protecting our homes from wild predators have gone. And if a half century ago it was normally perceived by society when two young men were sorting things out in a fair fight, then now police will gladly arrest both of them even if the fight was agreed by both participants and took place far from public places.
In the first part of XX an ancient tradition of duels, as a way to protect own (or a lady's) honor, was renewed in "totalitarian" fascist Italy, while now, in the age of "liberal freedoms" it is considered almost a crime when a person appoints a time and place, demanding his opponent to be a man of a word.
The fact is a fair duel concept gradually becomes illegal, this leads to the disappearance of the very rules of a fair fight. In other words, 40 years ago some student from Kyiv or Chicago was sure that in a scrimmage he would have a deal with an equally armed opponent, then now the situation is different, since there is no moral norms which would forbid a man in front of you to take out a gun and make a shot while your weapon is just a pair of fists.
Nevertheless it's in our blood - it's an instinct, which cannot be erased despite all attempts. Struggle against this side of a man's nature can cause the inability to combat threats and lead to growing violence regardless of how paradoxical it may seem.
Growing violence in society. There is very paradoxical phenomenon we can observe in the liberal countries - along with all possible restraints against "concerted violence" (ie, when both sides are ready for it), the number of hard murders is grow rapidly. Yes, murder have always occurred, but that's different. Take at least the notorious phenomenon of shooting in malls, which has already become a common thing in the US. Malls have been there for about a century. Until the mid of the XIX century ordinary civic Americans had been armed probably better then the police. But this kind of tragedies have become more frequent since the US government began to implement the policiey of "tolerance."
The fight against the natural instincts is nothing else than a fight against the very nature, which will always cause into a disaster.
Inability to resist threats. Your mind changes in the situation when you got to kill or will be dead. In such condition you will stop paying attention on trifles and focus on the most important thing at the moment - own survival (at the level of instincts it's equal to the issue of survival of own species).
The ideal of a male in modern Europe is a tolerant, mild and spineless guy, who doesn't want to work long on a specific project or to work hard in general. He believes, that success has to come at once without a single effort; he has to get all the necessary knowledge about on a specific topic by reading a few paragraphs and should win the girl of his dreams by sending her a message in a social network. And he is ok with those african migrants, because if he would not - this will result in a conflict situation and he will have to held accountable for the words.
In other words, we have a deal with weakened instinct of struggle for own existence.
No fight no glory. In such kind of tournaments young athletes can improve those skills, which are important for every man without great risk of serious injury. At the same time firmly formed worldview will help them to understand how to direct these skills in a right way.
As the saying goes "read right books and beat bad men."
